Aardenelle Bird Feeders

Specially designed for smaller birds. These feeders are unique in that they have the look of a birdhouse. Most people have an interest in feeding birds close to the home where they can watch them from their windows. More often than not, birdhouses are installed because they are typically more interesting and more attractive appearance than birdfeeders. Aardenelle has cleverly combined these two considerations, and added strategically designed features to generate a "small bird friendly" package. The oversize hole in our feeders is designed to allow smaller birds easy access to hop in and out to get seed. Larger (and sometimes overbearing) birds such as Blue Jays, and Cowbirds find the close proximity of the perch and the overhanging roof , combined with the carefully placed hole, to be difficult to negotiate. In combination, these factors result in a unique and attractive feeder, functionally designed for smaller birds!

Chickadee Feeder

This is a unique hanging feeder with a hint of Oriental styling. The top opens for filling by sliding it up the copper guide rod. The unit is approximately 17 inches tall including the copper hanger.

As always the perch is positioned to the feed opening to ideally suit smaller birds.

This beautiful piece has a recessed bottom housing a copper hook for attaching suet or any ornamental hanging. (Sun-catchers are popular!) This robust hook is integral with the top hanger, and can support up to three pounds.

Three-Tier Feeder

This three-tier feeder has separate "floors" to contain seed.

The perches and holes are spaced to discourage larger birds while maintaining an inviting feeding center for up to three smaller birds at one time.

Diamond Shaped Feeder

This Diamond shaped feeder has classic birdhouse lines.

The perch and gable are positioned to maintain The Aardenelle "small bird friendly" design.

It can be mounted in two ways: On a single nail and tied to a tree through the two visible holes in the back plate, or on two nails at the back plate for mounting on a flat surface, such as a wall, mounting board, or fence.

The perch is whittled from Black Cherry. It stands approximately 12 inches tall and is 14 inches wide.
